Ken Thompson and Dr. Bill Caruthers started Enigma Labs with one conviction: technology should make thinking harder to fake, not easier to skip. That conviction became the design principle behind every product we build.

We are not a software company that sells to schools. We are educators who built the tools we could not find and made them available to every district, vendor, and researcher who needs them.

The Enigma Labs suite spans six products across three distinct problems: compliance and documentation, AI governance and policy, and the question of what genuine thinking looks like when machines can write.

Every product is rooted in classroom reality, grounded in evidence, and built to work inside the systems educators already use.
